You can upload and edit as a guest. Sign in with an email account to download your edited PDF. No payment is required to download.
Guest PDFs stay in server memory and expire after 30 minutes of inactivity or a restart. After you sign in and choose Save to my account, applied edits are stored on the server. Unfinished inline paragraph drafts are backed up for saved account documents. Optional device recovery stores the latest PDF and draft in this browser until cleared or expired on access after 24 hours; avoid shared devices. Turning recovery off, closing the document or signing out clears that copy. Keep downloaded backups. Saved documents expire after 30 days without an edit. Keep downloaded copies.
The last five saved PDF versions are retained. Session Undo also temporarily retains earlier contents. Earlier versions and the source PDF can contain text deleted from the current exported PDF. Delete the saved document to remove its stored source, drafts and history. Account deletion removes your documents and login sessions. Downloaded copies and operator backups are separate; the operator must publish their backup retention policy.
AI is optional. Only the text you select and explicitly consent to send is passed to the configured provider. Suggestions are reviewed before use. Providers may have their own data policies. Card details are handled on the payment provider’s checkout page when billing is activated.
The original PDF layout is the only document view. Original text edits fit detected cell space or safe neighboring-text boundaries; text-only Writing view has been removed. Fonts include Helvetica, Times and Courier with bold and italic. It is not a full Word document engine. Standard fillable forms are supported. Complex tables, columns, digitally signed documents and unsupported scripts may require a different workflow. Layout view keeps fixed text regions. OCR approximates text and removes recognised scan pixels before inserting editable text; fonts and backgrounds may change.
Review all pages in Preview PDF and in your downloaded PDF. OCR and AI can make mistakes. A handwritten signature is not a cryptographic digital signature. Use your browser’s download or Share → Save to Files on iPhone.
When enabled, Continue with Google uses Google Identity Services to authenticate your account. Google receives the sign-in interaction; EasyPDF receives your Google account identifier, verified email and basic identity information. This feature does not send your PDF to Google or request access to Gmail or Google Drive.
Save your registration recovery code privately. It can reset your password. Where email delivery is configured, you can request a reset code and verify your email. Cancel active billing before deleting your account.
