Open the PDF
Upload the document and navigate to the page that needs your signature. Read the document and find the correct signature area first.
Create or choose a signature
Choose Signature, then draw your signature. Use the signature save option if you want to reuse it. You can also choose a signature you previously saved.
Place and adjust it
Click the page to place the signature. Select it to focus its controls, drag it into position and drag the corner to resize. Use the delete control if you need to remove it.
Finish and check the download
Click outside the signature to finish adjusting it. Save any pending text changes, sign in to download and open the resulting PDF. Check that the signature is on the correct page, line and size.
Reuse a signature you already created
The signature library lets you choose an existing mark rather than drawing it every time. Sign in when saving to your account if you need to reuse it after a later login. Guest marks saved in the browser are specific to that browser and device.
Position the signature precisely
Zoom in on the signature line before placing it. Resize with a corner so the shape stays proportional, then move it to the final position. Clicking outside finishes signature editing so you can return to other work.
A handwritten mark and a digital signature
This tool adds a visible handwritten signature. It does not create a certificate-based cryptographic digital signature or validate the document’s identity and integrity. If a recipient requires a certificate-signed PDF, use a workflow that supports that requirement.
Review a copy before sharing
Check the downloaded PDF rather than relying only on the editing view. Confirm that the signature shape, scale and placement look right, and that nearby text remains readable. Keep the original document as a separate copy.
Common questions
Can I save more than one signature?
Yes. Save reusable signatures with distinct names and choose the one you need from the library. Account saving requires signing in.
Can I move or remove a signature after placing it?
Select the placed signature to move, resize or delete it. Click outside it when you finish adjusting it.
Do I need to sign in?
The current editor allows guest editing. Sign in with your email or Google account to download your edited PDF. Account-saved signatures also require signing in.
